January 6-7, 2015 (Tentative-Weather Dependent)
Have you ever wanted to see a full scale sheep shearing? Our traveling top-notch shearer will be shearing our flock of 100+ head during the first week of January. Weather has to be cooperative, meaning no rain and above freezing temps, so bear with us if the date changes. We welcome visitors to come watch the utter craziness that is shearing day. Spinners and weavers can even pick out skirted fleeces on the spot to purchase for a nominal charge ($10.00- $25.00). We also have a limited number of volunteer spots for those that want to get their hands dirty. All volunteers get a free fleece of their choice. Email us to reserve your volunteer spot.

Just to let everyone know that Saturday 11/15/14 at Pepper Place in Birmingham will be our final market of the year. We will have Ewetopia (Raw Milk Gouda), Farmhouse Feta, Marinated Farmhouse, Sheep Milk Caramel and very limited quantities of Pecora Fresca, Pimento Garlic Fresca and Poblano Lime Fresca.

This is our very first blog post on the new web site so stay tuned for new information.
We are firmly in the off-season now and are doing farm maintenance and some new construction to get ready for the winter and next season.
All of the sheep are bred and now eating for 2, 3 or possibly more. We'll just have to wait and see.
The next big event at the farm will be shearing sometime after New Years. If you are interested in fleeces, or just want to come and watch, stay tuned for date(s) and time(s).
